1.) Pedometer with lease -- inexpensive
Reviewed by: EverLeaf.com Roanoke VA USA

I had lost three other pedometers. I found this one "/with leash" and have had an excellent experience. The leash must be wrapped over and around my belt, around the pedometer and clamped onto a belt loop -- very successful. Before I wrapped it, the pedometer fell off the belt and gave no reading. Swinging pedometers don't register!

I've been using this model for about a year. I have to place mine further back than they recommended for accurate readings. Mine is on my hip (when my left arm is hanging limp, it is right next to my arm)and it reads accurately. I like it because it is very small and unobtrusive - I wear it all day. Recommended.

I really like my pedometer. It's accurate and durable. I know they warn you against dropping it, but mines fell and hit the ground 3 times and I was worried it wouldn't function well if not function at but it did and it's still is. I use it every day when I go out for a walk or jog. I even where it around the house to see how much I walk in a day!
I would definately recommend it to a friend!

7.) Great pedometer at a great price

I am a chiropractor and have purchased over 100 of these for patients. If they are placed in the correct position (in front of your right hip) they are very accurate. I haven't had one complaint from those who I've given them to and personally wear one everyday. I am very satisfied with these and have tried 4-5 other brands before that I was disappointed with (and they were more expensive!). They are attractive and have a cover which prevents them from accidentally resetting...which was a problem with other brands I tried. Buy this one, put it in the correct position, and you will be very happy with it.

For the last couple of years I have been trying to walk 10,000 steps a day. One of the first things I realized was that pedometer have many many issues such as breaking, resetting when you don't want to them too, some you can adjust, some you can't, some are complex and some are simple. For me it seems that I can break any of them. A pedometer will last from two weeks to 3 months. So when I shop for a pedometer I usually buy three. I look for inexpensive but accurate pedometers. I have had this one about three weeks and seems to be working very consistently, it hasn't broke, and these were the least expensive I have purchased. Good product from my perspective.

I was surprised by just how tiny this pedometer is! It is also accurate: each time I walk I count 100 steps to make sure it is in a good position and reading well, and it has not disappointed me yet. This is a very basic pedometer that counts only steps and miles, so if that is all you need, this one is great for the price!

I read the reviews for this pedometer before I bought two.
They are simple to use and work rather well. They are very sensitive to movement, so it needs to be placed where you don't juggle.
I wear mine on the back and it works great. My daughter wears hers on the front.
You should have it attached to snug fitting waistband or belt for best results and accuracy. Again they are sensitive to juggling.

18.) Practically Perfect Pedometer

These little pedometers are great! I was a little skeptical about such a cheap thing being able to count steps and calculate miles/kilometers walked and calories burned. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that one cheap little pedometer really did calculate and keep accurate track of those different things.
I do have one complaint that explains why I am only giving this item a 4-star rating. My pedometer's belt clip broke after about a month and a half of using it every day. But what should I expect from a pedometer which cost less than $2? Other than that, my entire walking team is outfitted with one of these pedometers, and we really enjoy them.

I give these 3 stars because they work just not accurate. If they had a stride lenght to set it would be perfect. We ordered these for church, we are promoting a healthy mind, spirit, and lifestyle. We bought 25 of these for the congregation to have. They keep count and the kids love them, and they simply promote getting out and walking more than you normally do or simply keeping track of how many steps you take. If accurate steps are important than get one where you can set the stride, since everyone has different stride lengths. All of ours worked, no one said they didn't yet.

I purchased a few of these- being female don't usually have a belt to attach it to. It was sort of accurate while it worked BUT it falls off all the time (even when it seems securely fastened eg when lowering pants for um "biological" functions)- frequently breaking or falling off when not noticed (leading to loss in shopping center or....). A clip fastener would work better.
Now I originally purchased b/c of low price and knowing I'd likely break/lose a few - went to purchase more today and for this and another low cost model I found price increase of 60-100% in 2 months. Definitely NOT WORTH the increased price = barely worth the original price.

This pedometer is so cheap it isn't worth the $1.88 pricetag. Unless you want to cheat yourself, this is not the pedomter for you. You gain 20 steps just putting it on your pants, then walking to my co-workers desk five steps from mine I gained about 30 steps. By the end of my work day I had apparently walked 11,953 steps that I mostly acquired turning in my office chair, and I won't even go on to say how many steps you gain driving in your car. On top of all this, the company wouldn't refund me on the pedometers I ordered for my co-workers.
