I bought this so I can see my heart rate on the Polar Treadmill (LifeFitness) and my Bike (Lemond) and maintain logs in my T3c Suunto watch too.

The belt is really comfortable, and it does the trick I needed it to do, I use it to get a heartbeat on my PM3 on a Concept2 rower(analog) and on the firstbeat athlete software (digital), without a lot of transmission errors.

After workouts, I typically run the analysis on the Firstbeate ATHLETE software. Errors were getting as high as 50% after each workout. I also noticed that the rubber part of the electrodes around the heart rate sensor (the oval shape) decreased in height from wearing it over 1 year. This made it harder to detect my HR, thus more errors. With this new Suunto Dual HR strap, errors are always less than 10%, just as it was when I first used the original comfort belt.

I could have gotten away with replacing the Suunto strap alone for about $35 dollars Suunto Comfort Strap as I had hoped having the most up to date Suunto HR strap would benefit me more. It's basically the same as the Comfort strap, with the addition of the ANT/Coded feature, which blocks other HR frequencies from both types.
